Item(s): The Vampire’s Wife Charmer blouse and Vibi Venezia Mary Janes
Reason: Most of The Vampire’s Wife’s dresses don’t fit me.
They have severe darting at the chest which need, like, a B-cup in order to fill them out, so they unfortunately don’t work for my way flatter chest.
Still, I love the haunting and charming aesthetic of The Vampire’s Wife.
So, when the Loyalist skirt went on extra sale in December at Shopbop, I bought it.
… then the matching Charmer blouse also went on an extra sale ($141 from $470), so I bought it too.
In a UK 8, the top fits perfectly (while the skirt is a little tight in a size UK 8 and a few threads have run since wearing it), but it looks like a beautiful sunny dress when worn with the skirt.
Now I can finally wear a pseudo-dress from The Vampire’s Wife that actually fits me.
Next up: Vibi Venezia striped Mary Jane flats from Matches.
I bought the blue version of these shoes during the summer to wear to my Fourth of July party, but for $31, I also figured that I might as well get the red pair too.
Cute, comfortable, and affordable, what else can you ask for in a pair of shoes?
